I stare at the empty
page, wishing
I could write down all the things
that went wrong, all the places

just maybe,
I'd have a list
of things I can fix
or take back. And if nothing
else I'd have a list
of things not to do wrong
next time.
But as I stare
I can't
seem to figure out what
to write, because I'm not
sure where it went wrong.
Because as I stare
all I see is your smile
as you made fun
of my internet for being "trash"
or the way your mouth
moved as you said
you loved me.
I can't stop
seeing your eyes drinking
up every part of me as you watched
me shower from across
the room on a screen

I stood just outside the door of my college apartment bathroom, staring at the slender white stick I had left on the back of the toilet. The two-minute timer had gone off a little while ago, and yet I still couldn’t bring myself to step even one toe into the bathroom. Sergio, my live-in boyfriend of all of 5 months, wasn’t paying much attention as he played Call of Duty in front of the tv in his nice clothes. We were supposed to go meet my family for Thanksgiving, 2 days later than everyone else had celebrated.
I walked over to the toilet, sat down on the lid, and while facing the wall in front of me, I twisted my arm aro
“It is a crime of domination,
it is a crime of violence,
it is meant to humiliate the victim.”
But why was it me?
We were friends, went to school together,
watched each other change as the years passed.
You went from a chubby kid to a life of fitness and singles bars,
and I traded in my daily hoodies for tank tops and kids of my own.
But why was it me?
When we saw each other as adults it was like no time had passed.
It wasn’t awkward or forced.
We talked, laughed, joked about all the foolish things we did,
where people were now, how much our lives had changed.
Our days were so different since the Fridays we spent

I approached you like Alice and the Tulgey Wood, cautious yet awestruck
by a wonder I had never experienced. Your aroma
like the fresh grass surrounding me. I began
down the path of you, large multicolor mushrooms

direction I turn. I looked up and even the moon seems to be smiling,
encouraging me to step into the dark depths ahead.
Once I was inside each turn brought something I had never

colors of the exotic dodo bird to the shadowy figures hidden

A Heartless Death (Revised)
Death is patient and stealthy, lying in wait.

of a shoplifter. Carelessly meandering around the store, swiping
things with no obvious direction to his selections.
The young adult, a tempting glistening
chocolate bar torn off the shelf. Grandma, a worn
bag of chips that looks as though no chip is left
unbroken, stolen sweetly from her platform.
Snatching the little boy, a freshly made hotdog
straight off the rack and into his greedy
hands. Peeling the cold slick soda out of the cooler
on the floor, the criminal, without even a second thought.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!
Since it has taken me so much time to get to the next chapter of my book I decided to send out a preview of a part that has not yet been released. If you want to read it in order then don't continue reading. If you are curious then please read on. Thoughts are appreciated! :D
I know you may never read the words that follow, but so many things were left unsaid - I need some way of release. I hope this will suffice.
Though our time together has ended, the countless hours spent with you at my side have made memories I will always hold dear...

As I walked up to the building, I realized that I missed living there. I missed the bustle of people constantly in motion, all of them going in different directions. Some walked slowly in groups, chating with the person next to them, while others rod bikes in haste to get to their destination. But my favorite, the people I related to most, were the ones with their hoods up and their headphones securely in place, bringing them music wherever they went.
I continued up to the large brick building, searching for the reason I was there. Suddenly I heard a call from a table off to the side. I turned to see the shining smile that greeted me every

I'm a new writer trying to write my first book. I have always loved to read and now I want to contribute to the world of books that has shaped my life.
Current Residence: Texas Favourite genre of music: Rock/alternative Operating System: Windows MP3 player of choice: Ipod Personal Quote: I am who I am. You can either judge me or accept me.
So for anyone still out there I am finally back. After a lot of different things built together 6 years ago I stopped writing. I could blame it on the creativity not coming but in all reality a lot of stuff built up to tear me down.
But here I am 6 years later, still standing.
The real reason I started writing again is because of the creative writing class I am taking this semester, my last semester before I finally graduate college!!! I realized that when my life got the most stressful I threw away my best form of stress relief. So here I am, back at it again.
Any commentary is greatly appreciated.
As of late there has been a lot of support for my recent works. I just wanted to give a huge thank you to all the people who have followed me through the beginning of this...profile I guess lol. But mostly I wanted to thank one person in particular, ~DREIII (https://www.deviantart.com/dreiii) You were the one that got me back into my writing and encouraged me to start this page. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and helping me to make my writing better.
On another note concerning :icondreiii:, everyone should check out his stuff. He is an amazing artist and a great tattoo artist. I hope that you all get a chance to see his work and
